Introduction to safeguarding adults awareness e-learning module

For Newham employees.

Learning Objectives

This mandatory e-learning training will provide all London Borough of Newham staff with awareness on:

  • Basics Safeguarding Adults
  • How to spot abuse
  • What to do if abuse has occured.

Course content

The module contains four sections. You can stop and restart at as needed until you have completed the module.

Online training must be completed even if classroom based Safeguarding Adults training sessions were previously completed.

A record of who has completed the e-learning will be kept centrally.

The completion of this e-learning module will be a part of the induction for new starters to Newham Council.

Access requirements for the course

The course can be accessed anywhere and on a variety of devices, including:

  • iPads
  • Tablets
  • Smart phones.

Using the OneSource Learning Pool

If you have previously accessed the learning pool your log in details will be as below.

Username: Your council email address i.e. either Havering or Newham (oneSource staff please use the email address of the council to which you are contracted).

Password: The password you chose when you first logged in.
