Supported housing and care homes

  • Sheltered and extra care housing

Sheltered and Supported Housing schemes help older people to live independently, with easy access to shared facilities, social and leisure opportunities and support.

  • Supported accommodation

There are a number of ways that people with learning or physical disabilities, sight or hearing loss, can be supported with their daily living.

  • Shared lives

Newham Shared Lives Scheme gives people with support needs the opportunity to live with families or individuals in the community

  • Care homes

Care homes are for people over 18 who are unable to remain living independently at home and require support 24hrs a day. Due to physical or learning disabilities, sensoryloss or illness.

Maybe you need a little extra support to enable you to live at home independently, or perhaps the time has come to consider moving into somewhere better suited to support your own particular needs.
